September is National Preparedness Month (NPM) and in observance, Bordner would like to take a moment to share some information with you to help you get your “readiness plan” in place. The awareness month is sponsored by the Ready Campaign in partnership with Citizen Corps and the Ad Council. The goal of the campaign is to encourage Americans to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses and communities, according to Ready.gov. Bordner knows that this time of year is an often overlooked period when it comes to home weatherization and appropriate climate-change planning. So we encourage you to take some notes, weatherize, and set an example for your entire neighborhood by being the first on the block to own your very own NPM kit!
Take a look below at the fact list about NPM to learn more about becoming a coalition member.
