Impressed so far! Bryan & Craig from Bordner came out to quote us on a bathtub swap for a larger tub, and the whole experience was great. They reached out ahead of time to make sure the appointment still worked for us, and the morning of, we got a text with a photo and bio of who was coming. That's a safety touch I wish more companies thought of.
They were at our house for a couple of hours, really taking the time to understand what we wanted. He walked us through how the company got started and how the whole process works, was upfront about what to expect, and answered every question we had. I was prepared to haggle a bit, but the quote was reasonable right out of the gate. This wasn’t a 20-minute quick quote you get from most companies.
You can trust to have them come out and give you a quote, there were no salesmen’ gimmicks or high-pressure environment. It was a very laid-back and easy process. I'll update this review once the work is done!

Amazing service! I’ve booked the repair and they’ll finish it shortly, but TJ was amazing for the estimate. Every question, every thing I could think of. I’m in a wheelchair and I can’t see the roof but I could see where water was coming in, we talked, he looked at the roof all over and told me what he found, and showed me pictures. And he gave me a temporary patch (thank goodness, it’s rained so much). I’m so grateful for the work he did and I look forward to the repair.

:::Update:::: service was completed about two months ago and it’s incredibly well done!  No more leaky roof! Got interior damage to fix now, but since the hole is fixed, and it’s rained a lot lately, I’m ready!

I called to set up an appointment for an estimate for exterior work to be done. On the initial phone call, I spent about 10 minutes explaining to the guy (who sounded like a person who just takes phone calls to set appointments) that I am the primary contact person and that I don’t have a spouse or anyone else that needs to be included in the decision making. I finally had it sorted out with him and got the appointment scheduled. I get a phone call the day before my appointment asking again who my spouse is or who any other decision makers are that need to be included and telling me that they need to be a part of the sales pitch at the appointment. After I again explained that I am the primary point person for this project, they continued to tell me that I needed to give them the name of my spouse or a person that I live with… I am an unmarried woman and am the primary point person for all of the projects we have..

I have worked with contractors in this capacity for over 30 years. In that time, I have never had any company be so insistent that I provide them with the name of my spouse or partner. Or that I need to have anyone else involved in the decision-making process.

The reason I was told was that “they can’t keep coming back to my house to answer questions” and “all parties making the decision need to be present so that all questions can be answered at the time of the appointment”. They were unsatisfied that I was the primary contact.

I recently had a walk-in shower installed. The installer (Damian) did an excellent install. He was professional and knowledgeable during the installation. I and my wife have used the shower and we are extremely pleased and happy with the results. My wife enjoyed the bench and the hand held shower. The vanity top looks great. Bordner has put two roofs on my house over the years, so when a limb fell during the ice storm, they were the only company I gave a thought to call.

They were out quickly to assess the repair need and weather permitting, were very quick in coming back to make the needed repairs.

I also asked them to replace my sliding glass door, which was original to the house from 1973.  Their price was reasonable and I believe it's a quality product.  The manufacturer left a part out of the box, and when I brought it to Bordner's attention, they moved things around on their schedule to get back out as soon as they could to install the part.

I appreciate their professionalism and have and will recommend them to others!
