TJ did a great job explaining the situation with our roof. I did not feel like he was trying to upsell me which was a relief compared to how I felt dealing with previous home improvement companies. We are getting a few shingles replaced and I feel confident that our roof will have a lot of life left afterwards. Thank you!Posted on Google![]()

I had a new roof installed. Finished project looks good. It did take quite a while to get to it. I had to wait about 3 months. Only time will tell if it was worth the extra money.Posted on Google![]()

ORIGINAL REVIEW UPDATED: The work has now been completed. Everyone I interacted with was great! I must say I am very impressed with the level of communication and professionalism from Bordner. After my initial consultation, I was contacted the next day to set up a follow up appointment to confirm measurements. After the measurements were completed (I forgot his name, but he was very professional, and ensured I understood what they planned to do) I was notified that materials had been ordered, and a date was set to complete my project. The day of the project, the installer, Alex arrived on time and was very courteous and professional, completing the work efficiently. Also thank you to Johanna, who I spoke to several times on the phone and Samantha, the project manager. I will definitely be a repeat customer for future projects! (Original Review)Jordan Johnson came out for my initial consultation, and I was very impressed! He was very professional and took the time to ensure I knew what all my options were. I feel very confident moving forward with Bordner for my project.Posted on Google![]()

Jordan came to give us a quote on a bathroom remodel, and was very professional. The whole process was very comprehensive and included design aspects, sample of the products, and a thorough description of everything.Posted on Google![]()

Impressed so far! Bryan & Craig from Bordner came out to quote us on a bathtub swap for a larger tub, and the whole experience was great. They reached out ahead of time to make sure the appointment still worked for us, and the morning of, we got a text with a photo and bio of who was coming. That's a safety touch I wish more companies thought of. They were at our house for a couple of hours, really taking the time to understand what we wanted. He walked us through how the company got started and how the whole process works, was upfront about what to expect, and answered every question we had. I was prepared to haggle a bit, but the quote was reasonable right out of the gate. This wasn’t a 20-minute quick quote you get from most companies. You can trust to have them come out and give you a quote, there were no salesmen’ gimmicks or high-pressure environment. It was a very laid-back and easy process. I'll update this review once the work is done!Posted on Google![]()

Amazing service! I’ve booked the repair and they’ll finish it shortly, but TJ was amazing for the estimate. Every question, every thing I could think of. I’m in a wheelchair and I can’t see the roof but I could see where water was coming in, we talked, he looked at the roof all over and told me what he found, and showed me pictures. And he gave me a temporary patch (thank goodness, it’s rained so much). I’m so grateful for the work he did and I look forward to the repair. :::Update:::: service was completed about two months ago and it’s incredibly well done! No more leaky roof! Got interior damage to fix now, but since the hole is fixed, and it’s rained a lot lately, I’m ready!Posted on Google![]()

I called to set up an appointment for an estimate for exterior work to be done. On the initial phone call, I spent about 10 minutes explaining to the guy (who sounded like a person who just takes phone calls to set appointments) that I am the primary contact person and that I don’t have a spouse or anyone else that needs to be included in the decision making. I finally had it sorted out with him and got the appointment scheduled. I get a phone call the day before my appointment asking again who my spouse is or who any other decision makers are that need to be included and telling me that they need to be a part of the sales pitch at the appointment. After I again explained that I am the primary point person for this project, they continued to tell me that I needed to give them the name of my spouse or a person that I live with… I am an unmarried woman and am the primary point person for all of the projects we have.. I have worked with contractors in this capacity for over 30 years. In that time, I have never had any company be so insistent that I provide them with the name of my spouse or partner. Or that I need to have anyone else involved in the decision-making process. The reason I was told was that “they can’t keep coming back to my house to answer questions” and “all parties making the decision need to be present so that all questions can be answered at the time of the appointment”. They were unsatisfied that I was the primary contact. I cancelled the appointment. This is not a company that I will work with.Posted on Google![]()

Bryan from Bordner came out and spent close to two hours evaluating the roof and talking to me about needs, wants and concerns. Then told me he didn’t think we needed a roof for a few years.
Common Questions
FAQ
Have a question? We probably have the answer here — and if not, just call us.
How long will the roofing project take?
The duration of a roofing project depends on various factors, such as the size and complexity of the project, weather conditions, and any unforeseen issues that may arise during the work. Here at Bordner, we assess each project individually and provide our customers with a timeline based on those specific factors.
What type of roofing material is best for my home?
Our team will evaluate various factors such as your budget, climate, architectural style, and preferences to determine the best roofing material for your home. We offer a range of options such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing, wood shakes, slate, and tile.
We provide professional advice and recommendations, considering the durability, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness of each material.
How much will the roof replacement/repair cost?
The cost of a roof replacement or repair depends on factors such as the size and complexity of the project, chosen roofing material, additional services required, and local labor and material costs. Bordner provides a detailed estimate to our customers after assessing their specific needs and requirements. We strive to offer competitive and transparent pricing for our services.
How often should the roof be inspected or maintained?
We recommend having a professional roof inspection at least once a year. Regular maintenance and inspections help identify potential problems early on and prevent costly repairs in the future.
However, it’s also important to inspect the roof after severe weather events or if you notice any signs of damage or leaks. We offer roof maintenance programs to help homeowners keep their roofs in optimal condition.
How do I know if I need a roof replacement rather than repairs?
The team at Bordner will assess several factors to determine if a roof needs replacement or repairs. Signs that may indicate the need for a roof replacement include extensive or widespread damage, significant leaks that cannot be easily repaired, an aging roof that has reached its lifespan, repeated repairs over time, or structural issues like sagging or deterioration.
We conduct a thorough inspection to provide an accurate recommendation based on the specific condition of the roof.
How do you protect my property during the project?
Our staff takes great care to protect our customers’ landscaping and property during the entire duration of the roofing project. Our team uses tarps, protective coverings, and scaffolding to ensure that debris and materials do not damage the surrounding areas.
We communicate with homeowners to establish clear guidelines and take precautions to minimize any potential risks or damages to their property.
Do you offer any warranties?
Yes, we offer a variety of warranty options that we are happy to discuss with each of our clients. To provide even more peace of mind, Bordner offers a lifetime workmanship warranty for all residential work we perform, meaning products are transferable to the next homeowner without prorating.
