I give them 4 and half stars.  I have had 2 projects done through bordner so far.  The quality is extremely good.  My only reason for not official 5 stars is the price is bit high, but it might be worth it if work last for the long haul.

Buyer beware. With the recent storm, you can expect Bordner to be making the rounds. If you are unfortunate enough to go ahead and do business with them be very cautious about the clause in your contract that says they are not responsible for damage to existing gutters. Rest assured they will not be handled with care and you will end up buying Gutters. Strike that clause in the contract. Then when they damage your gutters, you can get them replaced by them for free.  Also be aware that they incentivize for a good Google reviews. Skip all of the five stars and go directly to the one stars to get a dose of reality. Even after my horrible experience, they reached out today, soliciting me for my business because of hail damage in my area.

I was initially impressed with Bordner Roofing. They replaced my roof, windows and siding ( with James Hardie siding). I had a craftsmanship issue with a window/flashing that I was not aware of because it was on the roof and I could not see. A gutter cleaner mentioned it, and he was not even on the roof. I was accused by Bordner/Cliff of them saying I must have done it.  1) I have never been on my roof. 2) No one else had been on my roof since installation. But somehow I magically did the damage. Cliff was belligerent on the phone and hung up on me and I never heard back from them. You can expect issues  on  a project this large ($150,000.00 +) but the quality of job is defined by how the company handles problems . I still have a house covered with dots, like a bingo dobber because they used a “dobber“ to cover nail holes versus a smaller “pen” as suggested in the installation guidelines provided by James Hardie. I did have a positive experience, a window shattered for no reason, and they accepted full responsibility and replaced it. Even offering to come out on a holiday to patch it during the extreme cold.  I feel Rob, the current owner is a decent man.  Maybe at the time he did not have the ability to fix things and make them right. They must have a financial “reserve “to resolve issues and when you have reached that  amount you get kicked to the curb. I fully expect a response where I am “shamed “ and a plethora of defense tactics are used. Feel free to reach out to me directly for photos and documentation to support this review. Keep in mind when you use this company there are subcontractor issues, (they are not employed by Bordner). Employees are heavily compensated by commission, and a massive ad campaign. Do your research and document, document, document. Also do not use a company that incentivizes/  compensates for five star reviews on Google. Good luck!**** sidenote, I had squirrels chewing on my James Hardie and J H did not offer any resolution other than I needed to get rid of the squirrels. I believe Bordner did their best to help me to resolve this issue, but only offered me a bill to have them fix it. Keep that in mind with the James Hardie product. It is stunning and an upgrade to your property but squirrel damage negates all of that beauty and money. I had engineered wood siding for over 20 years with no squirrels or rodents bothering it . Not sure what the attraction of cement is to squirrels, but who knows?

10/29/26 update. Sam Fleenor left a review for his own company along with photos. I think he is the vice president. He’d likely did get work done at his house, but I seriously doubt he would have anything bad to say,  just shows you how trustworthy their reviews are.

I had both of my bathrooms updated. The shower was taken down to the studs and updated with high quality products. The primary vanity top was replaced with Onyx and transformed from two sinks to one. The guest bath had only the vanity top replaced with Onyx. Damian was very knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and personable with the installation. Bordner did a great job fixing my roof. They were professional, reliable, and kept me informed throughout the process. The repair was completed efficiently, and the quality of the work looks excellent. I’m very happy with the results and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs.
