I called this company because I noticed excessive granular loss on my shingles.  Gavin inspected my roof, agreed a manufacturer warranty claim was justified, and pulled a shingle sample and took pictures.  It required continuous follow-up on my end with both Gavin and his supervisor Aaron to get them to submit the pictures and samples. (Gavin had the samples in his possession for 3+ weeks before mailing them in).  When the manufacturer denied the claim, Bordner Roofing completely ghosted me.  They would not respond to my request for advice on next steps, nor could I find out if the place on my roof where shingles were removed was repaired temporarily or permanently.  It felt like they just wanted a quick job and had zero interest in providing actual customer service or expert support.  I would not recommend them.

We’ve trusted Bordner Home Improvement for three separate projects over the years, and they consistently exceed our expectations: Bathroom Remodel: Converted a cast-iron tub to a walk-in shower, updated the vanity countertop, and laid new vinyl flooring over existing tile. Three years later, the materials and craftsmanship have held up beautifully, giving the space a modern, highly functional upgrade at a very fair price. Roof Inspection: When we noticed some visible shingle cupping, their inspector gave an honest, thorough assessment—letting us know the vast majority of the roof had 10–15 years of life left. Instead of pushing an unnecessary, expensive roof replacement, she recommended an affordable tune-up to replace the cupped shingles and secure loose flashing. That honesty saved us a ton of money. Entry Door Replacement: Replaced an old, inefficient door with a wider 40" opening, incorporating our existing sidelights and adding a new storm door. The crew installed it quickly and cleanly, and the entry is far more functional and energy-efficient. It’s reassuring to know there are local, family-owned contractors delivering top-tier work at fair prices without aggressive upselling or pressure tactics. These guys were very professional and helpful. It wasn't my roof that was leaking; it was my upstairs toilet. They could have sold me a roof, but TJ McAlmond from Bordner Home Improvement's honesty outweighed everything. There aren't many home improvement companies out there with integrity and honesty. Especially with the recent rain and hail we endured, the majority of these companies are competing with one another for profit, sales, and bonuses, while the poor become poorer and the companies become richer. So far, so good! We have just started the process of having our roof replaced, our representative, Drew, has been thorough, attentive to detail, and helpful every step of the way. He has walked us through the entire process and made the quoting stage feel smooth and straightforward. Bordner came out to quote for a siding replacement on our new home. Jacob Was very knowledgeable with the products offered and the scope of work needed for our home. The process was simple, straightforward and painless. Looking forward to seeing the result once the project is completed.
